Model United Nations

Model United Nations were created as a simulation exercise of the United Nations Organization (UN), involving high school and university students. Currently, they are widely recognized internationally and are held in over ninety countries.

Gimnasio Los Caobos has been organizing Model United Nations since 2005 with great success and impact, thanks to the responsibility, logistics, and preparation of its delegates. This is reflected in the nineteen participating schools and the recognition our delegates have received nationally and internationally. We have participated in and been awarded at prestigious models such as those at Harvard and New York.

Students in fifth and ninth grade must participate in the model, which promotes the acquisition of knowledge, the development of communication skills, analytical and critical thinking, social values, and civic participation as part of a comprehensive educational process.
