How it Works
Our Methodology
In 6th to 8th grade, PBL becomes more complex and meaningful. Students take on greater responsibility for their learning process, develop critical thinking, and learn to manage projects with real impact on their environment.
Excellence in a Key Stage
In Middle School at Gimnasio Los Caobos, students solidify their academic foundations and develop the discipline and critical thinking skills necessary to face the challenges of High School and university life.
A Supportive Community for Adolescence
Early adolescence requires a strong community. At Caobos, values of respect, empathy, and responsible freedom support students during this stage of personal changes and discoveries.
Autonomy Built Step by Step
In Middle School (6th to 8th grade), students make decisions about their learning with greater autonomy. They formulate hypotheses, design solutions, and evaluate their results with teacher guidance.
Teachers Who Understand Their Students
At this stage, teachers don't just teach content: they build bonds of trust. They understand each student's strengths and challenges and support them in overcoming academic and personal barriers.
Projects That Connect to the Real World
Middle School projects address real-world issues in students' environments. Through the Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate cycle, knowledge moves beyond abstraction and becomes action.
Critical Thinking for the Real World
PBL in Middle School strengthens analytical skills, effective communication, shared leadership, and complex problem-solving. These are essential competencies for High School and the world to come.
