How it works
Our Methodology
In 3rd to 5th grade, PBL sparks academic curiosity and develops autonomy. Students actively construct knowledge, accompanied by teachers who guide without limiting their capacity to explore.
Excellence with Purpose
At Gimnasio Los Caobos we educate students with a high academic level, prepared to face the challenges of today's world. We instill in each student a sense of purpose that motivates them to build their life project.
A Culture that Shapes Individuals
Our community is founded on love and responsible freedom. We promote empathy, solidarity, and respect as essential values during this key stage of growth.
Active Learners
In Elementary (3rd to 5th grade), PBL actively engages students. They formulate questions, design action plans, and connect knowledge with real-life situations in their immediate environment.
The Teacher Who Guides, Not Dictates
At this stage, the teacher supports and guides while students investigate and make decisions. Learning is built through dialogue, collaboration, and joint discovery.
Meaningful Learning
Each project in Elementary addresses a guiding question and follows a clear cycle: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. This way, learning becomes meaningful and transforms into lasting knowledge.
Skills for Continued Growth
PBL in Elementary strengthens critical reading, purposeful writing, mathematical reasoning, and teamwork. We prepare children for the challenges of Middle School and beyond.
